A mold Inspection is a search for mold or signs of mold. With various tools, including a moisture meter, hygrometer and thermal camera, the inspector will look for points of water intrusion, leaks, humidity and the HVAC system. An interview with the residents will also help us understand possible areas of concern. Mold sampling may be needed to identify and locate the mold.

A mold assessment is used to determine the the extent and cause of a known mold problem. The assessor will write up a report and recommendation for a mold remediation. Mold sampling is generally used after remediation to ensure that the mold problem is corrected and the mold levels are reduced to acceptable levels.

Mold sampling is used to identify the types and concentrations of mold present in the environment. This involves taking physical samples by various methods for lab analysis and includes Air sampling, Surface sampling and Bulk sampling.
